Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
The sheriffs dept can't locate some of my property. What can i do? My boots and billfold.

In short, that depends. (Don't you hate it when an attorney answers like that?)
Was it your property in a vehicle that was towed to impound?
Put into the evidence room when you were arrested as evidence of a crime?
Put in property when you were booked into the jail, and not given to you when you were released?
A few more facts please.
