Legal Question in Immigration Law in Tennessee

I have a child w/ an undocumented immigrant. I applied for state health insurance when I was pregnant b/c his dad did not have stable work. I have received a court date and I am scared that I am going to get my child's dad, myself and my child into problems if I go. I have been vague when they have asked me questions on the phone about finding the dad b/c I didn't want child support to find him for the fear that he could get deported or that the man that he works for could get in trouble. there could be many repercussions for a lot of people. MY child's dad is financially supportive when he is able. He does not live with us but he visits us regularly and is involved greatly in our lives. I do not know what to do. How do I take care of this without ruining my family?

This really appears to be a family law question. I do not know if the Family Court in your state would report an undocumented parent to USCIS. You should contact a family law attorney in your area.
