Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Tennessee

My neighbor just cut my 50 ft pine trees back to the trunk. The trees are about 6 feet from my fence and he came on my property to cut them back. Im afraid that the trees are going to die, and now looks very funny only half trees. What can I do

He can cut the limbs to the property line but no further. From the information you have provided he has trespassed on your land. You may be able to sue for damages; speak to an attorney in your area to fully analyze your case.
