i have a signed contract for a new home for 431,000 was finalizing the deal when the builder wanted to get ahold of my broker. we gave him the info and he called and raise the price to 439,000 It seems back when I made my selections 6 months ago they forgot to add one of my upgrades on. I had the house appraise for 435,000 . with all the upgrades in the house and accounted for by the appraiser. what can I do.

Read your contract. If it provides that the house was to sell for $431,000; then insist that the contract be enforced. If for some reason, the contract allows the price to go up, then unless there is a clause that provides that the house will appraise for a certain amount, you may be forced to comply with the contract. Because contract law is so contract-specific you would be well advised to hire an attorney to look it over for you. Thanks.
