Hi,Thank you so much for the fast reply.I have called probate and they said they have nothin on the will.So I have no idea where to go next except contact an attorney and see if i can file and demand to have the will opened to me.But I do know that there was a will.Do you think i should do this?

If you are not sure, talk to your step-mother regarding whether your father left a last will & testament.
If she refuses to speak with you, or there was not a will, then contact an attorney to help you open the probate estate based on Tennessee law of intestate succession. Under Tennessee law of intestate succession, your step mother and your father's children will inherit.
