Legal Question in Banking Law in Texas

Deleting a signer by bank from a business account without an addendum

My bank deleted a signer from my account without prior notice, proper addendum or/and without any reason. I personally asked my bank about it but said I never added a signer on my account. They told me that the law of texas says they can do it! Is this correct

Re: Deleting a signer by bank account

They can do whatever your contract with them says they can do. People seem to forget that each and every bank account they open is governed by a contract between them and the bank that says, for example, that when someone presents your check to them, they will pay it with your funds. I've reviewed a few such contracts, and generally, they provide that changes to the signatory designations must be done in writing by the signatory. But you got to review your contract to know.
