Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Texas

How do I withdraw or stop my Chapter 7 bankruptcy if I can pay creditors?

If I filed a Chapt. 7 and had creditors hearing and now find I can pay my creditors on my own, how do I stop the bankruptcy action?

There are a couple of ways to have your Chap 7 dismissed. One way is to get your trustee to agree to a Motion to dismiss. There is no absolute provision in the Bankruptcy Code to dismiss your Chap 7. Thus if the trustee will not agree, you may have to convert the case to Chap 13 (you have a right to do this) and then dismiss the Chap 13 ( you have a right to do this). Larry Maun 713.266.2560
