Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas

hello, i was sexally assaulted at a friends home this past superbowl, feb 7th. i have filed a police report. the case was forward to grand jury today, however i wanted to inquire if i can file the incident on the predators home owner insurance, the predator is the friend and the superbowl was at his home. I have almost 5 grand in doctor bills that need to be settled as well as justice in the meanwhile of the processing of the case. Additionally, I do not want to contact the predator, how do I obtain home owner insurance information.

I'm sorry to learn of what happened to you. It may be possible to go after the homeowner's policy in very limited circumstances. Was the person who assaulted you an adult? Was alcohol involved?
