Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

35 year old felony

after 35 years a felony is still on my record and there is nothing i can do about it. this causes problems when i needed to relocate and a criminal background check pulled up this incident. i have already paid my dues for that incident and i have not been in any more trouble since then. there should be something that i can do about this, some sort of form to fillout or something, this is rediculous! please tell me what can be done. so this will have to stay on my record until i die? there has to be something that i can do. in Austria after 10 years your criminal record is wiped clean. i know that i don't live in Austira but there has to be some sort of paperwork that i can file or something like a revoke or or have my criminal record reexamined or reviewed something. thank you

Re: 35 year old felony

Based on what you have written, the Texas law provides for ways to potentially expunge your record or have your record sealed. You can research these two possibilities or contact a law firm to assist you with potentially proceeding in one of these two ways. If my law firm can assist you with this legal issue or any other legal matter, please contact us at [email protected] to arrange for a consultation.
