Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

I was arrested for a class b misdemeanor for possession of marijuana under two ounces in big spring Texas this is my second of fence but in two different counties the first time I was on probation for 6 months and they said the first charge would be gone off my record when I completed probation. What will happen to me with this. New charge will I be back on probation

I don't know anything about this county. My understanding is that they are tougher in more rural areas than they are in counties with big cities.

I think you may have misunderstood what you were told on the first case. If you do probation, it stays on your record. If you successfully completed deferred adjudication probation, which you likely got, the case is dismissed, however, the dismissal and the fact of your arrest remain on your record for all purposes, until you file a motion for nondisclosure of criminal record. If that is granted the arrest and the dismissal remain on your record for law enforcement and the courts and certain other agencies. However, except for these agencies, the arrest and disposition are eliminated from your record.
