Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

My estranged husband beat on the door of the house me and my then boyfriend were renting. I opened the door and proceeded to tell him to leave. At that time he pushed past me and came into the house and assaulted my ex boyfriend. The police were called; a police report and more than 20 pictures were taken. My ex boyfriend told the police he wanted to press charges at the time. He has since moved to another state and has changed his phone number several times. My estranged husband was arrested in June for 2 warrants stemming from this incident, one for burglary of a habitat and one for Family Violence 2nd time in 12 months and has been in jail in Wise County ever since. He has been officially charged with burglary of a habitat but has not yet been charged with Family Violence 2nd time in 12 months. His attorney has stopped talking to him almost 2 months ago. His last court hearing was Oct 28 and his attorneys wife (also an attorney) requested a jury trial. According to my estranged husband, she told him that although his trial is set for December 10th, the docket is full that day and his trial will be rescheduled to sometime next year; he also states that no offers of any kind were made before the jury trial was requested. His bond has remained at $10k for each warrant. Is there anything at this time that I can do to "speed this along" and/or possibly get his bond reduced or get him out on a PR bond? My husband and I are not legally separated and I have his Power of Attorney on record in Denton County.

He cannot get a PR bond. That is not a high bond for those charges. They do not have to make offers, although he can ask his lawyer to seek an offer if he wants to plead guilty.
