Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

My fianc, and father of my unborn son, was accused of molesting his half sister a year ago. His adopted father, her biological father, put a protection order on him. He's not allowed to be around or talk to anyone in the family for two years. One more year remains on the protection order, however, he now has a warrant for his arrest for drug paraphernalia in another county in Texas, which is a fine costing $636 to pay off. My question is, if he gets arrested for the warrant can he be prosecuted for the alleged molestation? We live in Southeast Texas.

Those are two totally separate situations. Regardless of whether or not he has a warrant, he could be arrested for sexual assault of a child if charges are filed. And, they could be investigating that right now. If the child says it happened, there is a great chance that charges will be filed at some point.
