Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Is a plea bargain agreement valid when the statute of limitations had already expired years ago on the lesser charge that was agreed to even if it hadn't expired yet on the original charge?

The question is incomprehensible.

One important piece of information you left out is whether or not you entered the plea bargain in court on the lesser charge before the statute of limitations expired. I do not know what you mean by "agreed to."

If no plea bargain was entered in court and you absconded then you still have the original charge pending, and I doubt that there is any legal basis for arguing that you are somehow entitled to the original plea bargain on a lesser charge.

In this case there was not enough information given to provide an intelligible answer.

Always obtain a second opinion from another attorney.
