Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Texas

Can a public school district force students to wear uniforms

The school district we live in is talking about enforcing all students to wear either uniforms or a particular style of clothing. No jeans, t-shirts, etc. Can they refuse to provide education if the student does not wear these items?
