Can i go back and change my community service hours to be paid instead? My date of sentence was on january 6th 2010. I was convicted in austin but live in ft. worth!

Maybe. Different courts have different policies, and different standards of leniency. Talk to the attorney that represented you at the original plea, and ask him/her to petition the court to reduce your community service hours and increase your fine. Since your original attorney practices in that jurisdiction, and is familiar with your case, he/she will be better equipped to resolve your problem. |
