Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

The attorney General had an overpayment of mine for child support but instead of sending it back to me they sent it to my ex wife who refuses to return it to me. My daughter is entering college and I asked her to just give the money to her and as of this point she has not done that either. What options do I have now to get this money either returned to me or given to my daughter or should I just write it off

Sue the state of Texas.

Stop calling them. Stop sending letters to them. Stop talking to them. Sue them.

I did this a few years ago (they DO sometimes withhold too much, or they withhold based on a corrupt order) and forced them to disgorge $3,700.00.
