child support

If my ex husband is staying behind on his child support and not carrying the medical ins. on the kids and the attorney general will not help because he makes a payment before tghe 90 day peroid hits what can I do to try and get him to carry out his responibilities?

Hire a lawyer to file for enforcement and contempt. Depending upon the amount of back support, and the likelihood of collection, some attorneys will do this either on a percentage collected or based upon the court's order that he pay your attorney fees. It all depends upon the situation.

You might be able to get a bond imposed - but I doubt it. It's up to you to try. But most judges see being 90 days behind a little differently than you do. Is there a wage withholding order? Is he self-employed?
