Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

child support

I have always paid 20% of my gross to my ex-wife for my son with her. I know am remarried and have two more biological children. Should my child support to my ex-wife change?

Re: child support

If your income has stayed the same, then it will be reduced.

If your income has gone up substantially, then even though the percentage will be reduced, you might end up paying more money per month.

You can read about it in the Texas Family Code online.

I also recommend consulting with an attorney in your area.

Good luck!
