Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Child Support Review Process

Can a child support mediation document be voided due to the fact that one party claims not to have 10 days to be notified before the hearing? Even after that person signed the documents? The judge has not signed the document yet.

Re: Child Support Review Process

A true mediated settlement agreement cannot be voided for that reason - special laws apply to that process. If everyone has signed an agreed judgment, but one party later withdraws their consent, before the court has rendered judgment, then there really isn't an agreement at all, and the case must proceed toward a hearing, trial, or other disposition.
