Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My CPS caseworker recently told me that if I tried to ask why my sisters were being put in time out in our new foster home she would place us in seperate foster homes. I recieved a list of my rights from the foster agency and one of them says "No one can threaten you with loss of placement". Have my rights not been violated? What should I do now? I'm afraid that if I report this my caseworker will be really mean to me...

Remember two things about the average CPS caseworker:

1. He has a very difficult job.

2. He thinks the law doesn't apply to him (or he thinks that it's a bothersome hindrance that keeps him from getting his work done).

Start keeping a list of everything the caseworker says (verbatim if possible), with dates and times. Tell him you don't like to be threatened. Tell him you WILL monitor your sisters and you WILL continue to ask questions about them. Ask him if he cares about HIS sisters.
