Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Can CPS take my granddaughter's son away from her and give it to her grandfather since she started taking her anti-anxiety medication again? She loves that little boy so much and grandpa has constantly tried to take the grandchildren away from their parents. He lies to CPS about the parents. Please tell me what I need to do?

Hire her an attorney. Look on this website and on www.avvo.com for a family law attorney in the county that the case is in. The court wants what is best for the minor child - not the parents. Just because your grand-daughter loves her child it might not be enough if she has not taken her medication on a regular basis and she endangered the child. Good luck!
