Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I'm getting a divorce and been separated from my wife for 4 year living in different states. I have file for a uncontested divorce because we(my wife and I) had come to a agreement that we would walk our separate ways, so I use divorcewriter.com and file the divorce papers through the court house in el Paso TX, where I reside. We have no kids and been married since 2001. I have been taking care of her financially by giving her about $2000.00 a month. I've been in the Military for 18yrs and now she wants my retirement and spousal support. is she entitle to both of these?

Maybe divorcewriter.com can help you out with that. It is, after all, "How to divorce without a lawyer."

It doesn't sound like you have much of an agreement about the divorce if she is asking to divide your retirement and to receive spousal support. The answer to your question is "it depends" as it depends on facts we don't have about your divorce. This is a problem people run into going to some website for legal documents. Your documents may or may not be useful but they certainly do not help you navigate the process or figure out your rights. You are really getting what you have paid for here. If she is asking for these things then you should really consider hiring a local divorce attorney over in El Paso to represent your interests.
