Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I was divorced and child support set up in NM, I now live in Texas for 5 years now. I need to take my x back to court for not paying child support and to have him pay half of outstanding medical bills. Can I file in Texas or does it need to be in NM where divorce was final? Or can I request a change of venue and have it moved to Texas?

You can file it in Texas, but you'll need to register the out of state order with the Texas court. A few extra hoops to jump through, but you can do it in Texas.
