Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

my fiance and I want to get married in the Texas this year but want to relocate next July to California. his ex-wife live in Texas and their share joint legal custody he has primary physical. Would this impact us if we did not married in California? He still has residency there.

Not sure what you are asking. If there is a residency restriction on where the child can live, then it doesn't make any difference whether you are married or not.
