Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I am fighting an order for termination of Parental Rights. I have been requested to set up a mediation at the other lawyers request. Do I need to be represented during this mediation or may I go into it myself? I am not budging on my stance to keep a relationship with my kids. Can I go into this mediation and deny all their requests then just meet them again in court with my documentation?

If you don't have a lawyer now, you are not required to have one at mediation. You can go there, and represent yourself. You'll probably be required (in the mediation order) to pay part of the mediator's fee.

You don't have to agree to ANYTHING. Just say "no."
