Can I file for a final hearing?

I am a respondent in a divorce in Texas. 4 months have past since the petitoner filed and now have stalled. Can I file to set a final hearing if I draft my own Decree. I am pro se and cant afford an attorney. Thank You

Have you filed a answer? If not the other party can take a default. Are you sure you can't afford an attorney? Many will work with you on a payment plan. You can ask the court for a hearing, and prepare a proposed decree.
