Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I filed for divorce yesterday and I'm so confused about the next few steps. I filed the petition with the court but learned that because my county sheriff's/ constables won't serve outside of my county I have to have my husband served in a different county but that county is asking for my citation, my county does not know what they are talking about and I have to pay a private processor to serve him but not without the originals that my county has and they have to stay on file. What do I do?

I am sorry, but this the type of issue that attorney's handle. It is also a simple problem, compared to how much more complex this is going to get. Please believe me that you need legal counsel. Even if you can't afford full representation, there are attorneys who would be willing to be retained in order to advise you as situations arise. Please makes some calls to attorneys on this site, there is likely someone willing to work with you in a way you can afford.
