my friends divorce

My friend is wanting to file for a divorce from her husband since he is charged with 2 counts of rape. Her question is ''can she file for one while he is serving his term?'' Her husband's court date isn't until April so she still has some time to get things situated and make a sound decision.

She can certainly file for divorce while her husband is in prison, serve him the papers there and have the divorce well on the way before he gets out. She needs a lawyer in her area to help her with this.
