Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My ex husband and I devorced about a year ago and we both signed a decree. We have 3 children and 2 of them are still under 18. On the decree he's suppose to have the children every 1st,3rd and 5th weekend of every month as well as every Tuesday and Thursday evening. My ex husband texted me informing me that his employer will be sending him abroad to do a job and will be away for about a month. Is my ex husband allowed to accept this request from his employer because it would mean that he will not be around when he's suppose to be with the children? If my ex husband fails to meet his obligations base on the devorce decree, am I allowed to take legal actions against him?

Since your ex has the right to see is children on the 1st,3rd,and 5th weekend of the month, I assume he is the noncustodial parent. The noncustodial parent has the duty to pay child support ordered by the court and the option to see his children on the designated days.

Noncustodial parents are not obligated to visit their children.
