Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My husband kicked me out of our home in October of 2015. He said he would send divorce papers to my work, but never did. Can I file without a lawyer if there is property involved (which I do not want) to end this mistake?

Yes, you can file for divorce without a lawyer. The filing fee will be about $350. Because of the intricacy of the Rules of Civil Procedure, it's difficult to do a divorce without a lawyer.
