Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My husband and I have been separated for 3 months now. He has informed me that he has been talking to someone else. I found out who she was and ive met this women several times over the 12 years my husband and I have been together. She's an alcoholic and has a reputation for being crazy mean. She's not someone I feel is safe for my child to be around but I don't want to take custody away from my husband. How do I keep the gf out of reach of my child?

File for divorce/or file a suit affecting the parent child relationship. If there are temporary orders include a clause enjoining the husband from having guests of the opposite sex during his periods of possession with the child. Include this language in the final decree. If husband brings gf over when the child is there, he will violate a court order and could be found in contempt of court, Talk to a local family law attorney about this.
