is it legal to still being living with the person when u file for the divorce and when it is final inthe state of texas?

Yes. After 61 days after you have stood in front of the Judge.

You can still live together.
When is it final? IF agreed, after 61 days after you have stood in front of the Judge and asked for a divorce under oath.
Filing a divorce petition is NOT enough in Texas. One of you MUST
stand in front of the Judge and ask for a divorce while under oath.
If you file and never file a final decree of divorce, the case will eventually be dismissed by the Court and you will not be divorced.
