Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I moved out of my home, because a woman contacted me about my husband. I cannot prove infidelity, but I got my personal belongings and moved out. I still have some things there that are large that need to be moved out including a washer and dryer that I am still paying for. My husband refuses me access to our home. We are renting, I am on the lease, is it legal for him to refuse me access to my things?

Are you planning to stay married to him? Are you planning to file for divorce?

In connection with a pending divorce, you can ask a Court to make temporary orders which would allow you to get washer and dryer.

Otherwise, you can contact the local police and see if they will help you. My guess is that they're going to respond that it's a civil matter, and a don't want to get involved.
