Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Can a person with a record of mental illness call cps on someone, for no apparent reason, and it still be accepted and investigated. The person who filled false claim is the grandmother.

Yes. A person with a history of mental illness is still capable of telling the truth if she witnesses child abuse.

Generally, CPS is going to investigate the allegations, not the person making the allegations.
