Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I am the respondent. I received a petition to file for change in conservatorship and I wanted to know is the correct form for me to respond to the petition is called "an original answer" document?

If you are filing an answer then yes, your first answer would be the original answer and if you decide to amend your answer in the future it would be your first amended answer, then second amended answer and so forth.

However, there may be other filings that could or should be filed before an answer and in that case the original answer would not be the correct document to file as a response to the petition.
