Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I am about to get a sapena to show up in divorce court because I was the guy the wife was sleeping with while legally married. How do I serve in court in I work 300 miles from where I live? And no taking off is not an answer because I work 3 weeks on one week off. So if I miss one day during my hitch I miss all of the three weeks

You need to get an attorney to quash the subpoena. You might not be successful. You also might get the judge to order that you can testify by telephone.

Another option, if the person calling you really wants your testimony is to move the date of the hearing. The judge might be amenable with that. The attorney might be able to negotiate with the calling party to have you do a telephone deposition, or even a live one if you will be in town before the hearing.

Regardless, you need an attorney to argue your situation to the court or the attorney.
