Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

my son and his wife are divorced and they have one child which lives with me and my husband (grandparents). The papers say joint managing for all parties. Does he have the right to go the school and sign them out without our permission

By "the papers" I assume you mean a Court Order.

The Order should have some very specific provisions about who has the child at what times on what dates. If Dad is violating these provisions of the order, there can be consequences.

The answer to your question is: Dad's rights are what is in the order.
