Am i violation my ex husband visitation rights if i dont send an overnight bag with our children when he picks them up, even if he wrote a letter and had it notarized saying that it was a violation of his rights if i did not pack a bag?

It is only a violation if your visitation order specifically states that you have to provide an overnight bag.

I agree with Attorney Stevens answer.

He is responsible for providing "stuff" for the kids when they visit him unless your decree states otherwise. That means toothbrush, toothpaste, food, clothing, etc.

The decree probably states that if the child brings anything with it that the "stuff" will be returned at the end of the visit -- NOT that you will send the child with their "stuff".

If you need further clarification, talk to an attorney in person.

Good luck -- sounds like you need it!
