Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Visitation and Fathers Day

Heres what I asked earlier:I have custody of my 16 year old son, we have standard visitation. Fathers day falls on the third weekend of the month which he is suppose to go to his mothers house(1st,3rd,and 5th). Do I get to keep him that weekend or how does it work? Ive read my paperwork but cant quite understand what everything means. Thanks in advance for any info provided.

My decree says this: (Father) shall have the right to possession of the child each year, begining at 6 on the friday preceding Fathers day and ending at 6 on fathers day,(heres what im not clear on)PROVIDED THAT IF (father) IS NOT OTHERWISE ENTITLED UNDER THIS STANDARD POSSESSION OREDER TO PRESENT POSSESSION OF THE CHILD,HE SHALL PICK UP THE CHILD FROM (mothers) RESEIDENCE AND RETURN THE CHILD TO THAT SAME PLACE.

I have full custody of him!

Thanks for any and all info on this!

Re: Visitation and Fathers Day

If the child is already with you, you don't have to pick him up or return him anywhere, but if he is with his mom because she has already started her summer possession you have to go pick him up from her to start you Father's Day possession and take him back to her at the end of your Father's Day possession.
