Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Waiver & Final Divorce Decree

Spouse signed both the Waiver of Citation and the Final Divorce Decree which states that ''each party is awarded the personal effects in their possession at their seperate property''. Can I have the divorce finalized by a Judge if she is refusing to come get her stuff or do I have to wait until she finally gets it?

Re: Waiver & Final Divorce Decree

If the proper documents are signed, and they have not been revoked by either party, and the 60 day waiting period has elapsed, you can submit the decree to the court, which may require a hearing.
