Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

A warrant for my arrest was issued for 'failure to appear' for a child support review in Travis County. I never received any type of communication requesting my appearance in court. They have my current address as I still receive child support statements. The constable said my two choices were to turn myself in Dallas or in Austin. Are these my only options?

Somewhere in the courts records, there's (probably) a "return of service" that shows that you were served with a "notice to appear." Some crummy Constable or some crummy process server was willing to sign a paper saying that he personally served you, even though he didn't. You and I may know that you WEREN'T served, but that doesn't matter.

It's difficult for me to advise you what I actually having seen any of your paperwork.
