Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Hello, we had a will written up for myself, my husband, my daughter and my 3 grandchildren. My husband and myself are getting a divorce with nothing changing in the will. Do we need to revise anything in the will before or after the divorce?

Yes. You need to reports will the same will, with the same terms, but it needs to be signed again, after the divorce.

The reason is that, under Texas law, a divorce will nullify any dispositive provisions of the will in favor of the spouse that was divorced.
