Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Last year I took two boys in as their legal guardian so they could have a place to sleep and an address to go to school. This year one of the boys is asking to stay with me again. I really want to help him, but the stress I had knowing I was legally responsible for someone else's children was almost unbearable. I was wondering if there was a way he could stay with me and use my address without me being his guardian.

Unfortunately, your question prompts far too many more questions, which are not covered in your description. This is potentially an extremely complicated situation, or possibly relatively simple. There is are just too many unknowns here. This website has contact information for many attorneys in your area. I would recommend you contact one for an appointment to discuss this in detail. A single consultation could answer many of the questions, and save a year of anxiety. Good luck.
