Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Texas

I sold my 2001 suburban about a year ago. I did the transfer title and bill of sale for him. He's been running red light cameras and the toll road and I've been getting the fines. He never transferred the title to his name. I recently got a certified letter from him stating that they broke into his truck and stole the title. He got into an accident and his insurance will not repair his vehicle because its not registered in his name. My question is... Can I legally repo this truck back since he hasn't registered it into his name and for me getting all these violations cause of him?

You cannot "repo" a vehicle you do not own. You should have gone with him to transfer the title; that is the prudent thing to do.

You should send a letter to whatever authority is sending you the red light notices along with a copy of your bill of sale.

His accident and whether it is covered is not your issue.
