H1 B masters exemption CAP extra 20,000?

Does my position need to have a "masters degree" degree requirement , so that I can be considered under the H-1B Masters Exemption (extra 20,000 visas ) ? or just me having a masters degree form a US university would suffice?

You just need to possess a U.S. Master's Degree to qualify for this cap. If you are not selected, due to too many application being filed next week, then you will be considered for the standard H-1B cap "lottery".

I recommend that anyone filing for the new fiscal year H-1B cap overnight courier their I-129 petitions to USCIS, because both caps are sure to be met on April 1st!

Good luck.
