Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Texas

Post conpensation of patent by employer

I have three patents with a major oilfield service company. Although I signed over the patents, standard procedure, to the company for $1000 they have since recieved between 7 to 10 million from the product sales of two of the patents. I understand they ''own'' it but I have heard that I may be intitled to 2% of the sales. Can you tell me if this may be true or just wishful thinking?

You might be entitled to that, or more, depending on your agreement, and application of law. You should have that reviewed immediately and learn your rights.
