Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

Got offered for a job and met all of the requirements for the job. Employer told me I had to have a physical and drug screens. I did the physical and then they told me I had to take a urine and hair test. I then asked what was a hair test. Then they told me and I told them that I shave my entire body for comfort reasons and then they told me I was a failure and could not get the job. I had no previous knowledge of the test so its not that I'm hiding something. Can they do that?

Yes. Texas is an at-will employment state meaning that they can hire, not hire, and / or fire for any or no reason as long as it is not illegal discrimination.
