I am an Austin DWI Arrest Lawyer.

I don't know specifically about military law, but I know it is technically possible to be charged with the same offense in both federal and state court, as a matter of practice it rarely happens, but it is possible (ie it is not double jeopardy).

I've had clients who were members of the military and they received military "punishment" (unualy informal punishment such as rigorous exercise or additional chores).

My best advise is to discuss this matter with a lawyer familiar with military law.

Good Luck!
