Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

How to get my former attorney's lien dismissed by my insurance company? The contract we had before I terminated should be invalid as well as the lack of work he had performed on my case does not deserve one third of my uninsured motorists. he has fax them and told them that his firm "is retaining their interest".
