Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

Fell over 12 ft from festival stage due to faulty equipment.

While playing back line drums at a

festival , the metal piece that

connect s the top of the stool to the

shaft broke causing me to fall

backwards over 12 ft onto the

concrete. I landed on the left side of

my body and was lucky not to break

my neck. I could only get my left arm

x rayed when taken to the hospital. I

have a badly sprained wrist and I am

going in for a full body x-ray. I am in

the worst kind of pain and can barely

move.Im afraid of losing my summer

tour gig and the pay I was counting

on to get through the rest of the

year. My band says I should sue since

the drums were not secure and the

reason for my fall was because the

stage techs unprofessional setup.

What would be the proper legal

procedure? What kind of lawyer do I

need?

Yes, you need to speak with a personal injury attorney. Generally, personal injury attorneys work on a contingency fee basis which means, they get paid only if they are successful in obtaining money for you. Feel free to call us or send us an email for further information. We would be happy to speak with you--we have experience in fall cases...in fact we are starting trial tomorrow on a gentleman who fell off a 40 ft. roof due to faulty safety devices.

You should hire a lawyer who is board certified in personal injury law in the state where the fall occurred. If it happened in Texas, please call me.
